Note: Handicap Guidelines for Doubles 601, Doubles Cricket, and 1001
When teams have been written down on the match report, the captains will look at the handicap table to determine which of the players has the highest average; the team that does not have the player with the highest average will determine which of their players has the lowest average. The handicap will be determined from the handicap table of these two players. The player that gets darts based on the handicap sheet, will be the player that shoots the handicap darts. The player receiving the darts does not have to start the game but must shoot the handicap darts on their first turn. Handicap darts can not be saved for later in the game, if the player fails to shoot the handicap darts on their first turn then the handicap darts are forfeited for that game.
In the event that the highest ranked players on each team have the same average the here is the criteria to determine the handicap for the specific games: Doubles 601 and Doubles Cricket: The handicap of the 2 remaining players will be used to determine the handicap darts. The team with the player that has the lowest average will receive the handicap darts.
1001: If the highest ranked players are averages are identical, then the next highest player average will be used to determine the handicap, if the 2nd highest players’ averages are identical, then the third highest players average will be used to determine the handicap. In the event that the 3rd highest players’ averages are equal then the fourth players’ average on each team will be used to determine the handicap.
